Considering how lazy some people are in this game (or forgetful), they'd probably turn it off and not turn it back on for when they decide to play a Job that could really benefit from being able to see TP bars (BRD, MCH, AST, NIN). People will ask why they haven't used TP ability and said person will say they forgot to turn the option back on... and then not turn it back on (or not pay attention to the party list anyway) because either they instantly forget, are too lazy to go through their Character Configuration OR they know they'll just turn it back off after the dungeon, so they don't bother (coincides with lazy).
Sure, there will be people who will turn it back on after being questioned about the lack of TP regain abilities, but there's also those who won't.
much like as a nin,
as something else that doesn't care at all about peoples tp like blm or something, I can understand why people would want to turn it off.
Simply allow people to turn it on or off, not sure how it was released without that option.
Most of the complaints seem to be "They changed it. I notice the difference. I do not like noticing that it is different. It sucks." Kneejerk reactions. Give it a few weeks and people will get used to it.
I love the change, especially when playing nin or when I have a TP card as an AST.
Yeah, this pretty much.
I don't know why people are hating on this. Being able to see TP bars is one of the best updates to happen in a long time. Now I no longer have to freaking guess when people need TP.
The party bar is so cluttered!
-Typical Healer UI Layout
....honestly, unless I'm playing a job that needs to worry about it (NIN/AST/MCH etc), I don't even notice it.
You don't moan about having the ability to hide everyone's MP if you play Ninja do you? Christ. Umpteenth example of human resistance to change :P
I don't get the "but my screen is too cluttered with it!" excuse.
It's directly under the buff/debuff bar on the party window. In fact, they even removed party bonus stat part, which had absolutely no functionality. It is literally in a spot where it does not take up any more screen space than buff/debuffs would.
If your screen is too cluttered, clean it up yourself. That's a personal problem, not a problem with SE giving us what we need.
