YOSHI, we Still Want Darkside Aura CHANGED!!!

I always thought that the idea of Darkside was that we were tapping into the true darkness for power and the MP drain was the cost?

In that sense the flames would be suitable.

And perhaps i am not as familiar with DK as many of you but also why the red Aura? Would of looked cooler and made more sense as a black like smoke no? Even the DK NPC has black

It did have a Black Flame/Smoke effect but was removed because it looked weird in certain actions like Flying.

Just put back the black flames; make it like how you started it: I don't care if it looks funny while flying.

And I'm pretty sure you can make an on-off setting for DRK actions for those that it hurts the eyes.

They could have just turned the effect off while mounted.

...by saying it had been changed in a previous update, and people stopped complaining so the problem must be fixed. That is what caused an eruption of complaints, because nobody could tell any difference at all in the effect.

But it seems Yoshi was misinformed/misspoke/mistranslated, and they actually reigned in the effect with 3.07. It's still a little annoying, but much more tolerable now.

I'm sorry but the darkaura complains are just dumb. The sfx effect are very light and soft even if mutiple drks are on the same zone. Stop complaining and get a better gpu.
