Possible, it certainly reminds me of something, I just can't place it... I'm thinking perhaps a boss from some past game that I can half recall... In which case it could certainly be fuel for an Eikon design, or it could just be another Voidsent King like Diabolos...

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it bears a passing silhouette resemblance to Kefka's final form in FF6.
