Floor 1 of Savage is 90% gear. If you are in a static doing normal Alex, give it a few weeks to gear up in Eso gear and you shouldn't have any trouble iwth floors 1 and 2 of savage. Floor 3 is a lot more mechanics heavy.
I'd prefer the entire raid be mechanics rather than gear, personally.
Not really. 5 million registered accounts =/= 5 million active subscribers. I don't have access to SE's financial papers, but I'd guess~timate closer to 1 million paying customers actively playing this game. Which puts 200k players clearing Alexander Story mode in a good spot.
If you compare the amount of people with lvl 60 jobs with the amount of people who cleared A1 normal, then the amount of "hardcore" raiders is fairly high actually. You should ask yourself how many players have a lvl 60 job first. I doubt we've reached 500k yet.
...I guess that gives an idea of the ratio of actual hardcore raiders (re: 5mil registered accountsof which about 3.5mil is RMT bots). Let's hope it gets them to think about tailoring things around them in ways that actually hurt the rest of the players / the game as a whole.
You just hate endgame otherwise you'd have been honest about it.
I think he's saying in a mean way that we officially know that there's at least 217,000 players with level 60.
I believe this game barely have 500k players with level 60. According to some people, getting to lvl 60 is already a hardcore content.

most parties i been in, can't even get 4k party dps, and you need 5k for faust? there's a reason the clears, are so low.
if you been active, you'd be at least ilv 195 at this point - if you can't clear Savage with that, then ilv 200 probably won't help.
i seen many raiders, who could double their dps...but they haven't yet, for some bizzare reason; it's about rotation, and it should be easy to fix...but apparently it isn't.
I honestly think Savage was released too early. It's grossly obvious that it was designed for people in Esoteric gear.
As for myself, I can't get a static that isn't wanting to pull 20 hour weeks.
I don't want 20 hour weeks.
Most statics I know go 2 or 3 days per week and 2 or 3 hours per day and a good chunk of them are on A3S. That's not really what you can call hardcore. World first racing groups are putting more time into it.
Also, it wasn't directly designed for people in eso gear, it was designed for people who can play at 80% of their potency, the remaining 20% coming for gear (esoterics). The groups that could play at 100% or even better at 120% of their potency didn't need eso gear to get to A3S, and only 1 piece of eso to get past A3S. The true gear wall seems to be A4S.

I mean, most of the registered accounts probably aren't even level 60 yet. Most gamers are very casual as much as some don't want to admit it.
Only groups I got a response from are doing 5x 4h days.
Too much time.
And Savage was designed for ~195-200 item level(first two floors). *Everyone* that's gone in there the first few weeks was, and probably still is, under geared.
That efficiency percentage isn't going to show until then.
And since people cleared this this quick, they'll make it harder next time. I'd rather they just not open it until people are at the right gear level.
