I used it while I had the 30-day trial, and it gave a noticeable reduction in latency. Thanks to lack of FB, I am not able to renew the free mode and I'm not interested in paying extra for what the game should already offer (thank god for EU servers coming up).
And no, I'm not being paid by them, these things simply don't work for everyone, it could even make it worse. It's definitely worth a try though, you don't need to pay for that. Reasons WTFast has quite a poor reception on Steam and such are quite simple.
1) They exaggerate the results. That steam video is ridiculous, no one is going to get anything close to that good.
2) They offered free subs for positive reviews, calling negative reviewers trolls. Bad move.
3) People don't understand what it actually does. It's true your traffic always tries to go through the shortest route, but it is not necessarily the fastest and that's where WTFast comes in. If your routing is naturally good, WTFast doesn't really do anything useful. Publisher pays no effort whatsoever to explain what the software actually does and why it doesn't work for everyone.
AAA Internet Publishing should replace their marketing department, they clearly have no idea what they are doing.

You're not going to get the same latency from EU that NA players will to a server located in North America. Ever.
And I agree with the need for EU servers. They're in Quebec to attempt to reduce latency for you guys, but they're in what has to be one of the shittiest centers on the east coast.
My latency from where I'm at isn't going to get much better(I get anywhere between 80 and 90 ms from California most of the time) because of the grid where I live. No amount of routing is going to fix the shitty infrastructure in my college town. The actual physical infrastructure is shoddy and they won't put the money into it to replace worn wires and stuff because of how remote we are and how small the population is.
I use the trial version of WTFast from Chile and cut like 25% of my ping (The aplication says it's aroud 150-160 MS). Is pretty notorius when i have to pop up all the bard buffs and without it, for some reason if i mash the buttons, my cast is interrupted randomly, but with WTFast this almost never happens.
So at least for me, it works.
It's not only about reducing ping, but making it stable. 114ms from Europe![]()
Honestly I use the free WTFast and I notice an intense difference.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
I suggested WTFast to all my friends, since we are playing on EU servers.. they all got hit by plumes from time to time, even after going out of them as fast as possible..Are they paying you for this? They're paying you aren't they? It made zero difference for me personally. I gave it a try when I was on my original server, before I transferred to Ragnarok, since playing on a US server from the EU was really killing the connection.
I have no doubt the service works for some, but it's not a cure-all, and shouldn't be advertised as such.
since they use WTFast this never happened anymore.
but yeah , you are right.. there is NO cure for bad internet itself.
Using WTFast and programs like it when your playing from Australia (as I am) DOES make a difference since it often means a drop in ping from 300 - 400 down to 220 - 250ish. Maybe even less if your lucky enough to have higher speed internet. However if you are in the US and attempting to use it to get your 60 odd ping to drop lower you probably wont get any use out of it.
He tried WTFast...You won't believe what happened next..
