The deavs already stated, that they have a gear progression in mind when designing the new raid content.
After the "disaster" of FCoB, they also stated, that they will put more focus to prevent bypassing this gear progression by craftet+melded gear again.

A closer example going by your analogy would be you are trying to buy a new thing but it turns out no one in the world can afford it. The skilled people will by able to earn their money faster and thus getting that item before anyone else but regardless they will still have to work and save up enough money to get it.Yes, we deserve a raid which can be beaten. Whether we'll beat it or not is another matter entirely.
It's like when you are trying to buy a thing in the shop and have money but still can't buy it because the shop is closed for another month. With major difference being is you are paying money for your waiting time.
Honestly I don't see the problem with this at all. Just cause something is out there doesn't mean you have to get it right away.
Are you on A4S yourself?Reason why A4S has not been cleared is not because of real dificulty, that is to say some complicated mechanics or such. It is simply an unreachable gear check at the moment so the fight is literaly impossible as of right now. Maybe in a few weeks for world first teams, and in 2-3 months for regular statics. Basically SE tells us gear > skills.
Your logic is something weird here in the real world. If any controversial decision is against the players, lowers their gameplay experience and players approve it then yes, I will call it a blind following. First and foremost, we are paying customers and shouldn't allow ourselves to be treated like that. But I see no much self respect in apologists. They'll approve whatever, even impossible content for which people are not ready. What are players supposed to do in weeks/months before they gather enough gear for A4S clear? To practice mechanics which they already nailed? Or, more likely, just to continue paying their subs because it's the only real reason behind 'gear wall'?
More like you can't buy what you want because you don't have enough money.Yes, we deserve a raid which can be beaten. Whether we'll beat it or not is another matter entirely.

Or do you go to a shop and demand that they lower the price because you don't have enough money?
Ok so would you rather have a raid introduced that takes time to complete both skill wise and gear wise, or a raid introduced that can be facerolled immediatly upon release?
Its not been out for long, all this doom and gloom about it being impossible to beat is silly. Groups are making progression nicely in Alexander Savage. Its not impossible.
