First off congrats on the kill. I don't have a problem giving you guys the server first A1S as well. I'm most likely going to simply remove AU from this tier altogether. If anyone doesn't agree with that let me know.I believe it should apply for 2 reasons:
AU has been dead and 6 members of the raid team that got those clears are now <Nexus> (we removed the GM of AU from our group for our own reasons). I believe since it was in fact "at least 6 members" of our group that got those clears, they should be attributed to us instead of a dead FC.
If people do not feel the same I really don't care, my group and I was there and got those clears, and regardless we got server first A3S which I hold in higher regard than content we cleared in hours, not weeks.
Malum can decide, as really it does not matter much either way and I won't bother arguing the point any further, I am focused on A4S now and have a distaste for politics.
That seems totally fair, seeing as it was 6 of the current member of Nexus, no matter what they were called, it was their Accolade. Grats Ventus on you guys' clear, even during the time of everything going on!
1. Nexus is not AU. Do not give them credit for something their FC didn't do. Whether 6/8 of them were a part of the AU clear or not is irrelevant.
2. Don't remove AU from the list. FCs and statics disband, but keeping records of their accomplishments is good for historical purposes. If someone wants to go see who got servers firsts for 1st tier of coil are they going to see AU and Allotropy or are they going to see Nexus and Cuties? This is silly.
3. Nexus should forge their own new achievements. No one can take away the server first clear their members were a part of. Just keep it to memory, write it down in your diary, and/or blog about it.
This is a FFXIV 3.0 HEAVENSWARD Progression thread, not A Realm Reborn. Nexus IS AU's first Progression Group, They wore the AU tag when they ENTERED A3S, they deserve the last 2 kills that they did which was A1S and A2S.1. Nexus is not AU. Do not give them credit for something their FC didn't do. Whether 6/8 of them were a part of the AU clear or not is irrelevant.

PS. Cuties split off before the xpac, so need to include them in AU's kills for 3.0
Ventus, if AU is to shoulder the blame for the botting reputation from the main group, then the least you could do is leave the free company the A1S server first. (^:
EDIT: Apparently it's already been updated. Congratulations to Nexus on being the first FC to down content before the free company foundation.

From a recruitment standpoint, trying to bring in players by saying your guilds achievements are something that they aren't is rather misleading. Baring the AU tag for your server first in A1 puts that FC as the server first, regardless of it being a currently functional FC or not. If that isn't the case, does that mean that some FC on Excalibur actually holds Leviathans server first clears of T10-13?
What should draw people to you is that you've formed your new FC and downed a1, a2, and a3 in a short period of time, despite the reputation your groups actions left your previous FC with, and the people surrounding it.
Welp there goes any chance of most taking server progression claims seriously on this thread anymore.
I say that we get the top 8 FC's together and as long as 6 FC leaders vote this is a good idea then we should abide by it. Or we can get the top 4 and have 3 people vote but I wouldn't want to burden everyone with the agony of verifying through complex fractions. It'd hurt 75% of my feelings.

I vote Ice Heart takes over the progression thread. He is leader of the largest most active FC on the whole server.
