Well assuming you're specifically referring to the CUL turn in when spamming the turn in, at least the workaround exists for it. Place the fish in the top left (first slot) of whatever inventory section your confirmation would go to and spam the hell out of the Num-0 key (or whichever key it's bound to, same for controller). It's the same little QoL advice that people went by for using the fertilizer for gardening. Side note: you can default which 25-slot "bag" section of your inventory it defaults to by simply clicking the bag you want.
