Adding Legacy Tattoo to Mog Station

If so... I dunno man.

It would be really nice for players who were unable to or did not know about 1.0 to be able to use that storyline.

Also, for above, you do get different cutscenes or flavour text for a tattooed character in certain scenes.

Actually, I think it would be pretty neat if there was a quest line that would allow you to go back and witness past events and the reward was the tattoo.

It would allow me to get it on my other characters...and it would be some fun content for a reward other than the generic gear/exp.

It would be a kind of "heritage" quest. Why not? It would really add some depth to the game and help people connect to the world better. Besides, there is great lore that people are missing out on- and isn't this game about story and lore??

(Edit: You could even make the tattoo a little different, I guess... the idea of a body mark reward is pretty cool, though- heck I think it would be pretty fantastic to have some kind of epic major quest that had a scar reward!)

You cant compare housing or 2.0 events cause unlike those SE themselves stated at the time that the tatoo was going to be exclusive to those people at that time.

By adding it to the cashshop they would go back on their words and we all saw what happend the last time they did that (personal housing prices anyone?).

also the Tattoo is NOT part of being a legacy account. You can have a tattooed character without having full legacy status (reduced rates, etc)

Considering it is on a PER CHARACTER basis, and not account wide, it is literally nothing more than the event item and does not mean full legacy status.

I am not, I just know that you cannot get it. If SE ever decide to put that tatoo on mog station, I am sure it will piss off a certain amount of fan

I started 1.0 in Alpha stages and at that point the game was terrible, there was numerous suggestions to make alterations but they refused, I kept telling myself, from alpha to beta where they changed the battle system slightly that it would improve when I was deep in the Beta stages I kept saying "The full release will have far more content than this!"

I pre-ordered the collectors edition and then started. To my horror the game was identical to the awful BETA that we all tested, boring gameplay. I think I levelled to 20 about 6 times from beta to release and the experience didn't change. That was the point I gave up, I originally paid for 180 days sub but cancelled it once I lost complete interest they extended the free to play time over and over and I just gave up.

I started again in Alpha 2.0, Yoshi made many changes and the game was finally a little bit more interesting, but I never went back to 1.0 because I knew how much i disliked it. I don't have a tattoo or any legacy pieces, should I not be allowed to buy them from the shop because the reason of "I wasn't there" when I was there from the beginning.

It's difficult to say to add a "quest" to the shop that allows them to go back and witness the calamity to get the tattoo because Yoshi already declared no gameplay elements other than vanity would exist in the shop currently, I would like for them to add an event much like the Moonfaire event happening now where we can celebrate the X amount of years since the last Calamity let the reward following that event be the Tattoo (much like the Lightning Returns events that gave the hairstyle), should people miss that event you could always add it to the cash shop the next year but still hold a yearly calamity event handing out other pre 2.0 items for fun.

What is the difference, anyway? The tattoo didn't require payment... but even if it did- what's the difference between that and a cash shop? There were no story requirements for legacy stuff- just cash. Legacy rewards could have been cash shop items at the time, and there would be zero difference.

I am just pointing that out- because I keep seeing "earned" and "deserve" being used for something that was bought.
