Any aura here can give some info how horns go with hats or cowl?
Do they glitch or straight up hide like with some hats on miqote?

For the hats I've seen so far, the horns just poke through. I can try on a bunch later at the broker to see if there are any anomalies, though it would only be for my character's horn type.
