no way.
mid fight speech is the best thing in hw

I love the voice overs. The repetition doesn't bother me at all.
Plus, the only line I can think of that was slightly repetitive was "Sickness must be purged!"
But it doesn't bother me, because the lines symbolize moves or phase transitions.
Once they come with that dynamic, it feels like part of the encounter background than I never wonder why this guy keeps repeating the same thing.
It's more like he's voicing an incantation, or saying his ability.
Really makes the Ravana fight fun.
BOW BEFORE ME
Nope. I really liked Ravana's voice in battle. Jap voice btw
YAAARRRRRGH! I BREAK MY FAST ON GARLEANS! AND RIGHT NOW IM VERY HUNGRY!
Quiet bosses on HW? Hell no: I definitely enjoyed the voiced encounters in the expansion: it gives some threat to the fight and I feel like I'm actually fighting a boss, not...reading a boss.
Besides for what I'm noticing a lot of the complain is coming from the vault boss repeating the same line over and over (I only did that place once and I don't even remember), but hey it could be worse.

DOWN WITH YOU!

I like them a lot.
I was so disappointed when I did the second fight against Gilgamesh and there was no voice where the first encounter was so epic/fun.
But as stated before, is you don't like them, just disable the voices all together when you farm dunjon.
Honnestly, I'm more annoyed by the little shout and scream of miquo'te and lalafell attack (bard, monk >__<) "yaah, heey, haa!"
I'd rather have true attack name screamed on Limit Break or big CD skill than that.
