Wish they'd explain why the want it kept, though. I don't know is there is a valid reason to keep it the way it is.

Oh I agree with you,its just that I find it funny that the few ppl who don't want this change done are actually helping us who do want the change,by posting on these threads.

I think the folks who want it kept that are posting in this topic are just people who enjoy annoying others. There's not that many outlets for griefers and trolls here, so they have to get their giggles somehow.
It's huge and it's UGLY and I just want to be able to NOT SEE IT! I don't care if it stays in game if that happens.

It's more than not liking things. As the topic creator explained in the title, it hurts their eyes. I agree. It's large, obvious, and not pleasant to look at for extended periods of time, so I shut it off. Sure, I could look away when there's an aura near me, but that's not always going to be an option. I could be at the board or talking to an NPC and someone with an aura can just walk right up and shove their evil stank at me. Even when it's far away, it's still annoying because it shows the player doesn't care that they've got an aura on, in town, where it's only "benefit" is to pose for people and go afk. It doesn't comply with effect rules and it just doesn't fit the class.

EDIT: Doesn't Cecil get a similar aura to the one the level 50 dark knight boss has if you use Darkness? That was 10 games ago and now dark knights have "look at me" clouds.

I don't want to give up this class, but I've started levelling paladin because I'm sick of having a headache from flashy red strobe lighting flickering constantly all over the screen. It's a real shame but unless they remove this or really tone it down I will have to give the class up, it just makes me feel ill.
