How about ask them to give us new mounts without asking us for our paychecks every day.
Some of these giving fellows act like SE is into the ground and near bankruptcy.
They got more money than you ever dreamed to have, stop it already.

Stuff like that is why Sleipner is on Mog Station instead of dropping on Urth's Font like all other primal mounts. The more they sell, the more they will take content that could easily be "free" and in-game acquired to the Mog Station.
Remember when WoW released a new vanity pet or mount once a year?
Then twice a year?
Now it's every three months, always new and unique models, while apparently all mounts obtainable in-game in the latest expansion are reskins of existing and quite boring models.
Is that the path we want for FF14?
You are aware retainers are actually a very powerfull tool to make insane ammount of ingame cash with little to no effort right? Something a non-paying consumer can only use a small percentage of with the two free retainers they get.
No thanks...
Not "buying" something expensiv we dont even own! - We just rent!
Does that not mean developing these mounts for the cash shop actually takes away precious the time the team could be spending doing literally anything else for the base game? That includes developing mounts obtained in game mind you. They don't have a team just for cash shop items (or we'd be seeing much more exclusive items there), and clearly the items that are in the current shop are not funding important things like improved servers, so we'd have more inventory space, retainers, housing, etc.
It's not okay for any other pay to play MMO to do this, I can understand WoW doing it with them having like half of their player base since the 3rd expansion, but as we've seen FFXIV is gaining and not losing subs. They don't need to accommodate for lost profits. But regardless of all that, I don't support it in WoW nor will I support it in FFXIV. Those other games that add them don't have a subscription cost, and each character is around $5-10 I think? That's an entire new character, new moves, new voices, for the price of a Fantasia.
Too many people caring about how others spend their money. If SE really cared about whiney players feelings towards the cash shop and it needing to be removed, it wouldn't exist, period. You feel otherwise, please prove me wrong. I really want to hear that one.
This playerbase has by far some of the most entitled and whiney people I've ever seen, and I say that having played WoW from day 1 to ARR launch.
Look out here come the cash shop haters to hate on something that don't effect there game at all. And yes id like to see a few more added {btw if you don't like anything new in the shop then don't buy them} but for us that don't mind paying a lil more for a game we love it's fine![]()
No, thanks.
A part of me would like to see a new mount added to the Mog Station, but another part of me, fears what this would lead to. I am afraid that they are going to see that the Mog Station is very profitable and they are going introduce stuff like the new Glamour EGI to the Mog Station.
World of Warcraft started very innocently and look where it is right now.
PS: If you want to support the developers, get them new players. Convince others to play this game, this will bring in alot more money in the long term then someone buying 1 item from the Mog Station. I think you could always donate money to Square Enix.
