By "savage groups" do you mean pf? Because no static wit braincells would step foot in savage w/o a bard, and theres probably 1/10000000000000 chance to finish A1 in pf at this early stage.

If you focus your composition into beating Faust you are going to have a hard time on the Oppressors.

Fact is, no self-respecting raid will forgo their BRD/MCH for Faust when there's Oppressor right afterward. Look at all the people Clearing A1, they all have their BRD/MCH's, and their DPS is typically below the caster and above the Melee at Oppressors.

In other words: Git Gud.

If BRD/MCH were as bad as you and others make out to be I don't believe Square would even release Savage to avoid this 'BRD/MCH obsolete on day one' nonsense you're spouting. It's down to the person behind the Job to get good. By improving their rotation and perhaps try something new, instead of expecting to fart out 1.2k DPS cuz mah 190 gearzz.
