While I don't disagree with you, hard content can't be handled via DF, the "for every one person that doesn't.. there are two who do" is quite optimistic, I'm more inclined to believe most people don't raid the truly hard stuff at all or only slighty dabble/try some PF. (for example Coil, especially the later turns, before any nerf)
