Just at Serah's bow in XIII-2 and that'll give you a good idea what epic bows look like.

I was thinking, what about Skeleton Bows ?! More in Thm Anathema style?

I have archer as a sub, but actually started as one. I switched due to the lackluster animations and the atrocious sound effects. I mean, firing an arrow sounded like a robot DJ dropping his duke box. Ironically, my second class was Conj. whose SFX were worse.
I do like the idea of fletching colors, and trails to show the path of the arrow (or even just seeing the arrow nooked instead of a ball of light). But this is a FF world, where flashy lights and robot sounds rule. Good suggestions, though. I liked a lot of them.
How about something we can rub on the arrows, like oil, or poison.
I think idea has been covered by Xquiel and HiirNoivl
But thanks for post, and try harder ;D
Sweetheart!!! You rock for making this thread!!! I love my archer, I just wanna keep leveling my archer.
Cool that you like suggestions, thats always good ;D About flashy lights and robot sound rule, its like you said this is a FF World, and I quite like it. As some mentioned above my intention is to add some cosmetic changes, not really to remove anything :> I don't wanna see too much of "middle age style" in FFXIV ;DI have archer as a sub, but actually started as one.
