Agreed with the overall topic. I love the balance of what gear is available to characters in this game, regardless of gender. I do wish the designers could get over the terror of letting men wear dresses (the majority of gender-locked clothes are the "sexy lady" types; let guys wear that too! bunnyboys FTW!), but mostly it's pretty solid all around. If you want sexy armor, you've got options, if you want full-plate, you're covered there too; regardless of gender.

... okay, one major complaint. Let me patch the hole in my goddamn DRG armor already!

I guess I should mention since as femroe I have access to the biggest (player) boobs in Eorzea, I am female in real life, but I'm bisexual so I can appreciate both male and female forms.

Regarding the Dragoon AF issue, it will forever annoy me that for all the jobs to have their midriff exposed, it's the one that has disembowel as an ability. I mean seriously, you'd think they would be aware of the risks...

Also my tank looks like this, I would feel silly taking hits in a bikini (metal or otherwise). :P

I consider myself to be progressive. I am very stereotypically Scandinavian in terms of politics. In other words, probably way '' too open '' according to say, American standards.
My point was in fact, that those people are NOT progressive. That they are sexists like you yourself said. You missinterpreted what I meant.

I don't see the point of going bigger, personally, since we don't have any control over the rest of the body mass. Then again, I am soooo not a fan of top-heavy torsos, male or female.

I wish it went flatter, on the other hand. Both for personal preference and because real athletes tend towards the flatter side (yes, flatter than is possible in-game at the moment, Lalas aside).

Well, I like it because I love playing female characters, and sometimes they feel stronger in some games. I'm happy with how they handled the armor, because everyone gets what they want. Either skimpy or practical armor.

i was aware of the joke part. i'm pointing out the fact that we already have retainers. that ocassionally bring us bras. in an online game.
