Sorry, I can't hear you. I'm currently trapped in my basement, buried under a truckload of vivianite. If anyone lives in Mist ward 5, please send help.

i wish the requirement was just having the "light party" or "full party" status... but does not need to be there, especially since finding peoples place can be such a pain in the butt if it's not your FC.
"Try not. Do or do not. There is no try."
They explained themselves in the live letter on Friday the 10th. While it may not be the explanation people were looking for or expecting, this is their stance on it for now. Just be thankful and luck to actually own a FC house you can do this in...
SourceQ54. It’s difficult to get four players for company crafting with a small FC. Do you have plans to remove the minimum member restriction in the future?
A54. I believe there’s pros and cons to this, we assumed this will create a flow where FC members will gather together for this, but we didn’t make it where it needs be members from the same FC, so if you don’t have enough people, please use the party finder and look for players that are willing to help. That may lead to new members joining the FC. We may remove this restriction in future, however, we do not have plans for this any time soon.
Feel free to update your OP with this and add whatever comments you see fit to keep the conversation going.
I wish it was more involved than just getting 4 people to hit a button and be done with it. I was expecting a multiple crafter mini game where we pitch in.
Yea, I was curious about this airship building system thing but... its underwheling...
'tis true that the amount of mats required and stuff might be too much for one person to do at a time, so the workload could be splitted... but still can be done by one person...
The only thing that actually requires a party for is the advancement and nothing else :/
'tis more anoying than anything.
And thats SE missing the point :/
Sorry about your minor inconvenience, but please continue the witch hunt over it. Good luck.
I agree it's kind of silly. Not for needing a party though, but for needing a party which does absolutely NOTHING. I mean, it's not even as though our stats are taken into consideration, since you can swap to a level 1 weaver and have the same degree of success as a full team of level 60 crafts.
I think if they really want a group craft it needs to be just that. Actual crafting. None of this silly inviting friends over to see a sparkly flash and then disbanding. It's just meaningless as it stands.
It exsists cuz se doesn't expect 1 person to do all the work.
Insanity is a gradual process, don't rush it - Ford Prefect
Has anyone noticed the trend of recruiting people outside of Free Company with Party Finder, asking randoms for two minutes out of their FFXIV lives to help contribute with zero effort and then to ask (demand), for a "Tip" ?
It seems expressing gratitude can only be genuine if provided with coin. I think they ought to remove this or adjust it in whatever way to get people to want to help.
The easiest, logical solution is removing it.
