when I heard it was token I thought

"oh good so square is finally giving casual raiders a helping hand"

you see when they said Token I assumed it would be something like this, every boss you down gives you a general token to everyone in the party (once per floor per week) which that player can then use to buy equipment aka chest and pants would costs 4 tokens (a weeks clear) while accessories and belt would cost 2 and finally gloves boots and helm would be 3 etc

no instead square heard the word "token" and then tried to implement it in the worst most enraging possible way for everyone involved.... they should of just made tombs of Alexander or something, right now I will keep hammering away at A1 in the hope the belt token drops AND MORE UNLIKELY I actually win it, since im rolling against 7 other people every time now rather than 1.

Due to the fact how chest, leg, head and hands are distributed, the absolute minimum to get all pieces is exactly 6 weeks:

You can fit the remaining tokens inside this table, but you can't get below 6 weeks

Here´s another thing. Seeing it from a casual perspective. Your always going to do these runs in a party with 7 other people who are also going to roll on the tokens. If you were with your static or other friends, then they are prolly there just to help out with the farming.

And here´s a fun fact. I`m on vacation right now so I play this game lots more atm. So yesterday I was just at home doing Alexander. I beat A1 about 6 times, A2 1 time, A3 at least 9 times and A4 1 time. Thanks to the God of RNG I didn´t get a single token those runs!

Yeah, it is really too hard to setup a party finder like "Farm Floor X for 90 minutes or for 8 kills or all have their token" and blacklist those scrubs who leave early after getting their token. In 1 hour you can have 5 to 7 kills (10 to 14 tokens), which should almost give everyone the desired token. But yeah you choose DF over PF and are crying about RNGesus, lol. Thats why ppl deserve to get slapped by RNGesus, for their stubborness or dumbness.

Most of the parties I was in was through PF, so PF isnt that reliable as well. People join cause its a farm party and everyone more or less knows the fight.But they still leave after the get their tokens.

About your view of thinking people are stubborn and dumb for using DF. As I understand it, you agree on the fact that its hard to farm the tokens you want through DF.But you think people are stubborn and dumb for doing that. That itself just sounds douchy. Your in a way saying casuals shouldnt have a say in this and that we should just be quiet and happy with at least having a chance of getting it no matter how low the chance of getting the tokens are. You seem to only see it from one view. I can agree that you should be awarded for hard work, be it casual or hardcore. But if casuals chance of getting gear seem to be so low that you have to do runs for 2-4 eves based on a normal work day just to get 1 item and neglecting other in game content. Then theres something wrong obviously.

I don't understand why people keep saying this. It's 100x better than coil was where you'd see nothing but DRG gear drop for five weeks straight when you don't have a DRG in your static...

The odds of you getting loot each week are far far higher than they were in coil. People are only moaning because they now feel compelled to farm it endlessly until they get the drop they want.

And couldn't they have at lest put on them what gear they can be turned in for on the item info.

I count 5 weeks, since head drops from 2+3. SE will probably give us a weekly at some point to speed it up though.
