Please make the Au Ra horns separate from the faces!

That being said, I'm actually fine with the horns to faces for the males, but what I want more than anything is a size slider for these things. They're just too damn big >_<;;;

I love the Au Ra, and I enjoy being one, but its little things that are making me do a temp switch back to Miqo'te. Gonna play through some dungeons and old cutscenes and see which I prefer the most.

The chin cleft? Can you post pictures of what you mean?

Sure. It shows up in both dx9 and dx11. Graphics settings have little effect on it. Judging by how it looks, it looks like a seam in the mesh possibly, or at least a texture difference on the face in that area. It's been there since the benchmark :\. I was hoping SE would have fixed it by release.

I notice these types of things a lot. Being a perfectionist has its perks and drawbacks , this cleft is some of both. I wish I hadn't noticed it in a way, but I'm glad I did at the same time.

It also seems this cleft, if it shows in an area during the day, also often shows up at night in the same area. It isn't always visible but it's quite sensitive to lighting and is a flaw I haven't seen on any other face or race.

I noticed this too in the benchmark, i said something about it in another thread somewhere, i think it was show your Au Ra?. And it's also good to see this thread staying on the front page again!. Good job guys!.

I like my current Aura, but I wish I could choose the fin-like horn while keeping the face preset of the backward one. The lip thickness just killed it for me, lol

Their horns are their ears (Which is weird but w/e). A lot of folks really were hoping that they'd dangle off the tips of the horns, but that wasn't the case.. Maybe we can get that changed as well >.>

I applaud each and everyone of you that has kept this thread going. For my part I wanted to thank Square for giving me an identity crisis. I'm Intensely disastisfied with the Au Ra. I have found myself switching between Au Ra, Miqo're, Hyur, Au Ra and finally Miqo'te again.... :S Thanks for the fantasia and you're welcome for my money.

I'm really not impressed with the horns, NOT only can we not choose or customize at all other then toggling those metal bands on and off on them, they are not hidden in hoods or partially covered in certain hats where it would make sense like any OTHER ears of all the other races.

Seriously sub par implementation of this race, and this is just one of the complaints. I hope sincerely that IF and when we get a new race it will be better thought of and added to the game in a seamless fashion.

I just feel like the Au Ra was rushed to be in time for the expansion and really there was no need. We could have waited.
