I just got back from being suspended from the forums for 2 weeks for swearing, I'm very glad to see that this thread was kept active in my absence.

Wow I didn't know you could get ban from swearing but back on topic, thanks for the thread! My Boyfriend and I we're very dissapointed when we saw the lack of customization for Au Ra.

The language they use is loose enough that you can get banned, basically, because they feel like it.

It's funny, the easiest thing for Square to do, if this is in the "wishlist" that I'm sure they have, is to just say so. "We've passed this on to development as a suggestion." I'm amazed that they don't do that a lot more often.

No joke! Just tell us "We feel you on this and we're trying to find a solution for it. Please be patient as trying to reduce the spam isn't easy". Yeah that wouldn't make us happy necessarily, but at least it would tell us that they aren't just putting their fingers in their ears and saying LALALALA over and over again.

You really gotta wonder what the community reps are doing when they look at the RMT thread and this one.

There is no need to talk about the RMT thread really, they release topics on the lodestone every now and then about how many people and accounts they've banned that have been associated with RMT. They also released info about how they've restricted trial accounts sending friend requests to reduce RMT spam.

MAke it a Question in the "ask the dev" thread. "Hey yoshi p. how does the day of a community rep looks like, because ya know i get the feeling they dont work at all when i look at all these big threads...."

but i bet they rather give you a ban hammer in the face than actually answering the question...
