Does warrior have the threat issues pld seems to have at 60?

I have a 50 paladin and a 53 bard atm (that I may scrap because I feel the class has fallen way behind as a dps class), I am wondering if warrior has the same threat issues paladins seem to be talking about at 60? Mostly with drg and monks that are geared, vs a geared pld and such.

I haven't gotten there myself... but i haven't really heard any PLD's that i play with complain at all about threat issues. The only thing they complain about is not being able to use goring blade and royal authority more....

I don't Play a warrior or a darknigth so i might miss Infos about them to compare Paladin with them

BUT:
I don't see any threat issue for Paladin and i've run with players wearing gear roughly 20 ilvl above mine.
the only time i could actually get into Trouble with thread is when i get to cought up with my new toys and miss out on threat generation but that would be my own fault.

I don't mean to offend anyone but were the dpsers competent? Because you know someone can have i180 and still do 300 dps. I had runs where I could spam riot combo + flash / other skills without worrying about threat and there were also runs where I had some strong aoe such as BLM or summoner combined with high ST and there comes trouble, if ST dpser pulls 1000+ and caster 500 per target you have to alternate between halon and flashing and it will be still close (70-80% of your threat), so you won't be able to use anything but threat abilities.

To topic from what I have seen when I was healing our warrior tank, he had no trouble at all even with combined dps, always had fairly large safety margin, while still being able to pull decent dps.

Melee dps are conjuring up a lot of initial threat, use your Single-target combo if you have someone else also doing aoe dps in tandem. Just be quick on snap aggro and it'll hold.

Keeping aggro for a PLD is harder than before. I've seen some DRG almost taking aggro from a boss, even when I was spamming my single target combo. If you have a good AoE caster and a good melee dps, it can be hard to keep some groups of trash mobs on you. Nothing impossible for sure, but harder than before 3.0.

I wouldn't necessarily call it issues. Holding hate at 60 has not been the snoozefest that holding hate at ilvl cap in 50 was. I have done all the 60 dungeons and I have lost mobs occasionally, especially when running with DPS with a 180 weapon when I was fresh off the ilvl 145 boat. However, it never felt completely impossible to hold hate with those kinds of gaps, I just had to focus more on berserking overpowers, steel cyclones, spreading out my butchers blocks and worry less about applying storms eye. My first purchase with law was the Kintoki 170 axe and I immediately felt much more comfortable, plus it only took unlocking the dungeons and a round of roulettes to purchase it.

As a WAR, Unchained and Berserk to start off a boss fight still has me locked for good. On trash, a 3-5 overpower/steel cyclone/flash at the start gets me enough of a jump to hold the whole group unless a healer or ranged/caster decides to pull a mob out of the group half a second into my pull.

Fairly new to 60 PLD, 57 WHM. Haven't had any aggro issues and haven't seen it for any of the jobs other than one or two WARs who I'm pretty sure just weren't capable tanks. I have definitely seen DRGs build some insane aggro, as well as BLM on one or two occasions, but it just meant I had to work harder and cut out my DPS combos. I also haven't really been gearing my PLD--I grabbed the ivl 170 shield first because I didn't like the one I had, and just got my sword after being 60 for a week. I hope I don't have upcomming aggro issues O__o not like when I was a fresh 50 in ilvl 40+ against those godly DRGs and BLMs with their Zeniths in WP.

No issues here with very competent DPS. I do find myself searching for single targets, like if a very good MNK or DRG are in my group I find their mob and Halone it once then continue my rotation.
