You're presenting your own speculation based on your limited experience as if it were fact, at this point. This is no longer a thread about your opinion, but why you insist that DRK is fine the way it is.

It isn't. People are grossly exaggerating how far behind other tanks it is, but the fact remains right now that if you have three equally geared tanks on your character, you'll feel obligated to play either a PLD or a WAR if you want to have a stable, comfortable tanking experience.

No one's arguing DRK isn't clearing, or can't clear, 4 mans or story content but that's such a tiny piece of the game it isn't even worth discussing in balancing conversations.

Dark Dance + Dark Arts gives you +30% parry rate and +20% evasion. That is not going to save you from a burst ability in the same way Sheltron or Raw Intuition would. It might. But then it might not. Your party isn't going to roll the dice when it comes to tank busters if the alternative of blocking or parrying it with 100% success exists.
