TBH I've always wondered if she was Lord Lolorito's daughter or something.

Maybe that'll get addressed later on in the story - I'm only at the 59 roadblock so it hasn't, yet.

How about Money? She could used her own Money to buy it from the Marketplace. And the Order of Dawn has some serious fighting Force who could obtain it for her. While we just run up from quest to quest think like a week has passed since then. That makes it more plausible. It's a point that bugs me anyway. They talk like they traveld months (heavensward) while it was just some hours for us. They should blend in more time frames so that we get a better understanding how long that journey is.

In your example a blend in like "one week later" would be good.

I think she's suppose to represent the crafter and harvester classes, like how the other scions represent the battle classes.

Tataru has stated multiple times shes' extremely good at making money and handling money.

It's probably not a hard stretch to imagine that she was not idle while we were running around, she doesn't just g et information by bothering people, she would set herself up as a reputible merchant of sorts, and through her business practices, glean useful information and rumors, while turning a tidy profit. It's then a fairly simple matter of finding someone to do her "Quest" while we are busy saving the world (See possibly free companies), to bring her said materials, that she then pays them for.

Tataru is a brilliant craftsman and shrewd merchant, I personally don't think there's terribly much beyond her grasp if she actually puts her mind towards it.
