Top DPS Jobs in 3.0?

I main Ninja, but I used to love Dragoon so much so that I left the game for a year because my Static wouldn't let me play the Dragoon. I love melee but also love pet classes. Very torn between Summoner or Dragoon for a backup class. Then again maybe I'll not need one because maybe there is never a case where nobody wants a ninja!?

WHM reporting 900ish dps which is where the current BRD parses seem to be at.

Where the MCH is actually reporting around 980 and WAR over 1k

All 3 melee seem to be managing to pull close to each other so not entirely sure about them but the NIN's seem to be more consistent pulling high numbers for now

-.- ; ; ; hmmm yeah i have to decide to gear bard or go with another job now... and its looking like another job may be the answer... knowing SE they will make adjustments. but remember the issues with DRG. they didnt get addressed for MONTHS!

I'm seeing SCH is around 750 with i190 weapon + full i180 on a dummy. I guess WHM beats SCH now ... interesting.

I just wanted to let everyone know that we feel that a DPS class with as much utility as bard or machinist should be capable of doing less damage than Warriors, Dark Knights, and Healers because we want to preserve the balance of the game play. We feel that the mana song/turret has much more value than any one can do with damage numbers.

Just wanted to let you know our logic.

I believe all tanks do around 900-1,000 DPS in OT stance.

sad part is songs and regen seem to be non issue since a lot of people gotten new ways to self regen tp or mp.

Yeah unless you have friends that you been playing with a long time and they are kind enough to not force you to play a different job, good luck in party finder --- bards / mch prolly gonna get blocked out!
