    Yeah i thought it was skill speed ======= but havent gotten 60 yet to play around.

    Bard is not the same and i doubt they will ever go back to how it was. Well wait you do have the option to go back, but you dont get most of the new fancy abilities.

    Going to change my main, because if im gonna be a turret i'd rather do real damage like a caster....

    if im going to lose the movility that "crippled" my dps for balance reasons (SE never said that was the reason but makes sense ) ....then i expect blm/smn dps at least.

    BRD/MCH are considered mages for SE , just the quests and the law gear is a hint (that robe )

    We arent asking for melee dps , because melees will be always be top outside niche fights....

    Same goes for MCH (they have it worse )

    Hell man I was just in a party with a DRK using DPS stance and he was putting up 900ish single target DPS and 1500ish AoE DPS, Both bards were 700ish DPS and 1100 for AoE, That drk was insane^^.

    This isn't very honest. You can still move and shoot as the WM can be toggled. BLM have no mobility toggle and it would be a much larger decrease in team dps to get them to do it than to have the BRD/MCH do it. Ranged will still continue the mobile mechanic role in raids regardless.

    Like Vinestra said this isnt instant like cleric stance or one of the ninja poisons --- this requires you to cast a song (about 3.5 seconds) standing still.

    We can drop the song and do the old school bard stuff... sure,. but we also need to stop dps and movement to get back into WM stance. so yeah i really dont like it.

    playing bard since release and i hate it !!!! sooo much!!! doing atm mach bcs its some how suits him but sincerly i want my brd be normal and some new skills

    Personally, I've gotten used to the changes and I'm enjoying my BRD. (And yes, BRD has been my main class since 2.0) I didnt run and jump all over the place, anyway, when I was raid in or in dungeons. So most of the time I was stationary, to begin with, so I'm okay with adding a 1.4 second cast time and getting access to new abilities and an extra 20% potency on everything. The only thing, I would really change, is to make Wanderer's Minuet have either no cast or a shorter cast. So that we can switch between damage and mobility, more fluently.

    The cast timer needs to go. so you didnt do much mechanics running around in coil in the past?
