I REGRET NOTHING!

I REGRET NOTHING!
I'm just some guy...
The only regret I have is not realizing we could exchange soldiery for poetics after HW launches. So I grabbed my weathered set weapon (which granted, I needed the upgrade) instead of holding onto the 1.3k soldiery tomes. That could have been a great boost in poetics
Granted, I like the look of my weathered weapon so it's not a total lost. Still have about 4xx soldiery so I can grab a nice upgrade for something right from the start. Probably the boots of casting because they look awesome![]()
There wasn't enough interest on Jenova to do Savage Coils for the longest time, so by the time we got started, we weren't able to finish the whole thing before the expansion came. We managed to finish T6, 8, and 9, but we were still working on the last phase of T7 right up until the servers went down for maintenance.
I don't know about the 2~3 other groups that were working on Savage Coil, but my group doesn't intend to go back and finish it since there will be a lot of other things to do in the expansion.

Trying to do things I didn't enjoy just to make my friends happy. The game's a lot more enjoyable when you just go at your own pace.
Yoichi Bow Zeta - was going to Zodiac #4 so not too bummed about it, just bummed to be reminded out how much fun I had playing bard.
Didn't Lucis all crafters and gatherers only managed 6 of the 11
Didn't clear Savage Turns
Didn't clear any savage turns, didn't go past artisan on gathering and crafting gear, and not getting my Dreadwyrm gloves and ring of healing along with the Dreadwyrm Cane.

My biggest annoyance is not getting a kill on Odin. Fate.
I still just every time it pops Hyperion just fails or we run out of time. lol
I genuinely regret taking about a year's hiatus from the game. Life just kind of happened, and though I had plenty of spare time playing FFXIV just wasn't a part of that. I regret not letting it be, because I did miss a lot of fun content while it was fresh. Working on getting my Artemis Bow upgraded all the way to Yoichi Zeta. Unlocking and leveling up Ninja sooner. Running all of those extreme modes when they were fresh, new, and genuinely challenging. The list goes on. But, eh, there's plenty of time to enjoy Heavensward and once I'm at a position I'd like to be in with my primary job I can go back to experience the things I had missed during ARR. It pleases me knowing that ARR's content seems as though it won't fall to irrelevancy as other MMO's tend to do with their older content. The level 50 stuff will still remain relevant, if at least to provide people with great gear for leveling 50 onward, storyline reasons, and so on and so forth.
My difficult choice is sticking with Bard as I have long-enjoyed, finding I enjoy Machinist far more and going with that, or even Astrologer or Scholar. I'm primarily a ranged DPS in FFXIV as it was a promise I'd made to myself (I have played the healer or tank for many years in MMO's), but I do play a healer as a secondary job for the sake of fun and quicker queues. I enjoy Scholar very much so, but am also looking forward to Astrologer's mechanics. So, we'll see!

I didnt get my supra fishing rod, I didnt catch all the fishies. And none of the 40+ ninja betta I desynthed gave me the minion
My fc mate bought me one cause I was such a sadface

Still need a few Lucis tools, didn't clear Savage Coil. Nothing I can't go back and do now.
