Greetings, all!

I can certainly understand the trepidation that many people may have ceding certain looting rights (or all of them) to another person. While this feature should provide a great benefit for groups to prevent certain errors or fraud, or to just make it easier for a group of friends to handle loot, the possibility of abuse of this system is certainly there. However, it is worth noting, the current system also has the possibility of abuse, and this new system is entirely optional within specific restrictions.

As with any agreement between people being broken, if the new looting system is abused, it should be reported to the GM team as Fraud, and we will investigate it accordingly. A few guidelines for preventing being affected by fraud due to this new system:
  • We will enforce the agreements made between customers. If there is no agreement made about loot, then any loot option chosen will be considered to be agreed to on entering the dungeon.
  • While the loot setting is displayed on the window to commence the duty, choosing a loot option that contradicts any agreements does not mean they are agreeing to the changed setting.
  • There may be multiple ways for the same rules to be enforced, depending on concerns about fraud. Explaining the method of distribution before entering can help to prevent misunderstandings.
  • If you are unhappy with the loot setting that is being chosen, leaving the party before entering would be advised to prevent a conflict about loot during the run.

As with any violation, the GMs will investigate and make the final determination about if the agreements were upheld and if there was a violation of the rules, so please do report it to us so we can investigate.
