The next expansion should be Doma (Japanese theme)

Im not too concerned with 4.0 yet, but it'd be nice to see us roam outside of Eorzea.

I figured Doma was a crater. A barren wasteland. Considering all the Domans that survived their failed coup, ran to us, even told us that they razed everything to the ground.

As of now it most likely may be Doma and/or Garlean Empire due to how those two have been the second focus of the story so far.

Plenty of parts in 2.X era did focus a lot on what is happening in Doma and the Garlean Empire.

I won't be surprised if 4.0 may focus on the end of the conflict with the Garlean Empire and 4.X focus on defeating the remaining Garleans loyal to the Old Garlean Empire.

If so we may get the Battle of Ala Mhigo for the final part of 3.X era as SE's way to open up the path into the Garlean Empire and Doma.

I'm doubting we're going to to leave Eorzea proper for a long while considering there's still two (former, one under imperial occupation, one abandoned) city-states we haven't accessed yet.

Plus the fact that lore wise, a lot of the stuff we pull just wouldn't be possible outside Eorzea due to Eorzea having a stupidly large abundance of aether compared to the rest of the world. Something would have to happen to cause a ton more aether and have it spread all over the world.

I hope they bring these two back. I wonder if we'll see Sharlyan and Ala Mhigo again. I can see The Xelphatol and Gyr Abania in the next X-pac
