Now, they have already announced during the purchasing of early access that there could be possible maintenance during it. So even if an emergency maintenance takes up Friday-Tuesday, SE does not have any obligation to reimburse us. But I'm sure if something did happen to where it affected a majority of players this weekend (like log in issues for a day), and enough people express concern, they will probably reimburse people. SE isn't as terrible as they used to be (FFXI) in those regards.

Compensation happens in games for unscheduled downtime. This 24h thing is scheduled.

Even then, its not guaranteed. Server uptime/game availability is not guaranteed.
