To be clear, I think the content is awesome. Building airships, sending them out to explore, that's all very cool.

What's not cool is that this is off limits to lots of people, thanks to this game's housing disaster, with which you're all familiar.

Beyond merely "not cool," it's absolutely reprehensible for SE to be working on, releasing, and charging us for new content that we cannot do, when we are unable to do that content because of their own shortcomings. That is, their pathetic inability or refusal to create enough housing space for all their paying customers is to blame for the situation.

Now, new content is the lifeblood of an mmo; keep it comin'. But to specifically make new content, and [I]to charge me for it,[I] when you know that you have made it impossible for me to actually do it, is purely wrong. I mean that literally: it's an ethical issue. It might sound like I'm making an awfully big deal out of a game. "Get a life, guy, it's just a game." Yeah, it's just a game that I'm paying money for, on the promise from this company that they're going to deliver a product that I can use. Right now, they're charging me for an unusable product. Housing may only be a small part of this game, but I'm paying for the whole game. And if I'm not receiving the whole game that I've paid for, I'm going to seriously reconsider spending another dime. I'm not asking to have something handed to me, nor am I being "entitled." I just want what I've paid for. That's not a free house or something, it's simple access to the housing system. SE, your paying customers demand it.

I'm not advocating for some band-aid fix. Don't take houses away from inactive accounts. Do what it's obvious you really should do: get a system in place that makes it possible for every player to eventually get housing. Anything less than that is not just inexcusable, it's totally outrageous. We've heard enough about server loads, blah blah blah. Figure it out. Take the team that's designing housing-based content, and put them to work on solving this problem in a satisfactory way, before they release anything else for people with houses to do. There is no excuse for this miserable behavior, it is the worst kind of bad prioritization.

No new housing content until housing is available for everyone. It is the only reasonable and good thing to do. SE, you should be ashamed of yourself for not working harder to fix this mess. No more excuses. Do what it takes to fix it, or watch your unhoused players quickly getting bored and moving on.

I agree there is a housing issue but I disagree that you are entitled to all content because you pay a sub specifically in reference to your shortcoming as there is content in this game you cannot access already unless you beat previously gated content. (Final Coil)

Final coil or anything else in this regard are simple "i want" or "I don't want" choices you either do it or not the only restriction you have here is your own time and maybe rng (lets say you want a specific pet dropping from a treasure chest or something)
The current Situation is as if only the first 1440 Groups per Server are allowed to raid coil and the rest has to hope for next week.

So yes we are entitled to have Access to housing (and I'm talking about there being enough houses on each Server for EVERY single player)
