Who actually got conj , so that hey could be a dmg mage ?

so i rolled conj to be a ranged dmg mage , wen reading the original description of conj
it was all about elements and controlling them
witch i read as doing dmg with fire and ice , we still got thous skills but are pretty useless against most things

BUT we are forced to heal.
So who is really disappointed whit the way they screwd us with falls advertisement ?

In this MMO that allows you to mix classes to chose your role, how are you "forced" to do anything?

If you want or do not want to be disappointed thats everyones choice. But if you claim to be force in this game, its your fault for allowing it to occur.

supreme: maybe your play style isnt cut out for mage maybe your a hack and slash kinda guy.. me personally i found that THM mixed with elements from CON work very nicely together..

I don't think it's inaccurate at all to say that most people will expect a Conjurer to heal in a party setting.

heck at first i thought that CON was eventually going to have summon abilities when i first got the game

I would just like to say quickly, that EVERY class in the game is a Hybrid. You can play however you like, but to not take advantage of all skills you can get access to - is to limit your character.

just tough it out until 1.20 like me and then we can finally get our real BLM and all our friends can stop telling us to heal but currently it just depends on what you're doing for nuking i can keep pace with most archers on DPS as CON

Your on the wrong forums section, this is a conjurer thread, and since your post referes to BLM, which will be the THM job your post appears a little confussing. If you wish to talk about jobes and such here, it would probably be wiser to discuss WHM since thats what CON will be offered initially.

Where is the list of job-to-class correlation? I've been looking for one this evening and can't find an official dev response/interview.

In any case, join a party as a con right now and tell them you don't want to heal. If they can't find another con I bet you won't be getting from them again.
