Excluse male beastman race for next expansion after Heavensward?

I don't see them adding a mono gender race, especially from player feedback being so strong for wanting male miqo'te and female roegadyn/highlander.

To use your own example, ronso already has assets in place for females, and why wouldn't you want to have option to play as this?

To be fair, I'd roll a Ronso in a heartbeat. I'd either go with that or a Viera.

While I'd love a beastman (Hopefully reptilian one >_>) race, I'd really want there to be a girl options. Like.. Strawman aside (Though imho it IS close to what a lot of people say >_> ) I'd be super upset if the race was "Super cool beast man" and "Waifu race 4.0!" because god I'd love more options for a woman with a more masculine body shape besides the Roegadyn.

I'm game for Ronso. When I first saw them I was thinking a blue Red XIII with a horn. The only down side is they could end up too much like the Miqo'te or too much like the Roegadyns. I see them as kind of an odd mix of the two. But, I'm not saying just put them in, but having a more original beast race like a Ronso would be cool. I was hoping to see a beast race with the Au Ra, but was a bit disappointed to see them more human then beast.

I have no problems with beastly females, and if talking existing Ff races, Ronso and Burmecians are awesome! I'd love to recreate my Burmecian I made for tabletop Rp.

However, Lore reasons also make adding a beast race hard... And if you added a totally new one then people would start going "why can't we be Amaljaa, Kobolds, Sahagin, Ixali ect ect" by limiting playable races to humanoid ones, they also limit the expectations to have non-humanoid ones (even if there is demand, once they give into it, they'll get more and more demands once the expectations are there.)

And by your same argument we can ask for androgynous males from a race >.> that's a thing too.

I dunno, Lore reasons can basically be summed up for the same reason we're in Ishgard now or how Au Ra can participate in 2.0's story, ie plot or plotholes :P

Honestly as long as it's a unique race, I'm sure we'll be fine in terms of people asking to be the currently existing Beastmen. I mean, if a race like the Ronso, Burmecian, et cetera get added, wouldn't that mean the next race is also just a copy of another final fantasy's race? I'd just kinda hope they keep things unique.

Why not a race that has no gender instead?
Like golems where instead of choosing a gender, you choose between a bulky or slim body frame?
