Gryphon looks tough to kill considering it's an AST with i170 gear. He doesnt seem to be seriously killing but he's thrown enough at it to have killed it, had it been an ARR mob.

On the other hand, the gryphon seems to be having trouble killing the AST too. Maybe it does hit harder, considering ARR open mobs hit for like 1% with their auto attacks but harder to tell since there's no UI to look at.

He use random skills, because he was only allowed to make a video with the UI turned off and he had not the time to read the skill texts.

What makes the flying fat chocobo worse... is that to make them fly you pull out a cake on a candycane pole. So mean...

Ah dhalmels I remember those, especially when they would berserk and I'd do a weapon skill for 1/2 their hp bar or more!

I remember playing FFXI early in its US life cycle doing that subjob quest, dhalmel whirlwind to the face xD. Subjob, chocobo, airship pass.. funny to have such a strong feeling over such 'little' events.

ok... mobs must hit harder cuz that AST kept dishing out healing spells. so many cute little stars. offense moves seem really cool. since all their moves aare new i can't wait to see more more.

AST looks like the triple threat of support, time mage, and healer rolled into one.
