I can just imagine new players who occasionally break from the MSQ to go exploring getting to the part of the MSQ where they talk about how Ishgard's been closed to outsiders for a long time and they'll be like "What're you talking about? I just spent the last 3 hours watching strangers do something called the 'Manderville' in the Machinist guild!"

Why do you all feel the need to baby new players? As someone who is still kinda newish, it's insulting. Plus most of you got through the story, why do you think new players can't handle it?

They are dangling "new player" to try and garner sympathy votes to suit their own agenda. Don't worry, they will be back to screaming at new players in game after HW is released.

75 pages of people repeating the same stuff 6 million times lol. I still scratch my head about why Veteran's are defending people who:
1. Players who probably don't even play this game.
2. New people who are new should only care about the content they are getting by, nothing more or less.
Awful lot of Tanks on these forums, not enough in game. Many using Sword and Shield Oath for newbies they would screech at in DF.
Since everyone has argued this to death all I gotta say is now:
-Looks at Dead horse devoid of all life;
-Stares at it for 5 minutes;
-Kicks horse;
-Walks away;

Replace Main Scenario with leveling to 50 to get to 3.0 Content. Before 3.0 comes out, you still have that level 42-50 drought which is unbelievably grindy and boring the first time around. You won't even have that going from level 1-50 by doing main scenario post-3.0 release.

And they said they are addressing dungeon/trial queues in ARR anyway so new players can get through them faster.
