I bash on drgs any time they give me the chance. I go above and beyond too with snazzy jokes. Those runs i usually get comm'ed by everyone but a drg in the party, but sometimes the drgs play along with me and die on purpose. fun times.
A guesstimate i would say 2900 of my comm's came from cracking drg jokes in dungeons and raids.
Its all situational irony too. For example WoD, 3/15 dps slots will be drgs, then we fight angra mainyu, of the 3 players that die to the same given mechanic, 2 of them would be drgs. Then i crack a joke along the lines "of the 3 players that would die, 2 of them would be drgs." like a quarter of the raid responds with "lol" and start playing along.
Then 150 death comes along, targets a drg, EVERYONE moves out except for the other 2 drgs, so all 3 drgs in the raid eat the same 150 death and do a face plant, then after that fight they revealed they did it on purpose for the lulz, except for the targeted drg of course. The bosses after that drgs were elusive jumping and jumping into mechanics that would kill them. example elusive jumping into a space by themselves when 5H-Dragon puts a thunder on them, or spineshattering the wolfbane the moment it appears in ontop of the purple goop. It was like a circus and the whole raid was watching these drg's. Fun times. and it was one of the faster and smoothest WoD's ive ever ran.
WIth the CT weekly quest in the game, theres even more reason for raids to be lighthearted and fun.
edit: don't judge, i only do 1 guildhest a day and its for the daily roulette, even then its only when the other roulettes are done for the day.

Here's a trick for quick comms:
Roll for guildhest roulette as tank/healer and be the last to leave.
Easily around 6 comms for 2-3 hest.
Cape Westwind doesn't really work anymore because of the ratio of vet to new players.
When I go on DPS, I usually give my commendation to the other DPS as long as they didn't completely suck because I know that most people give them to tanks and heals by default as demonstrated here:

It doesn't matter if you had 5000 comms, lolDRG is just ingrained into our community at this point and you gotta learn to let the salt go. But don't worry soon we will have plenty of emo DRK jokes to go along with the lolDRG.
I remember the first week of 2.0, when it began to occur to me that dragoon was the special class of FFXIV. Someone in my friend's FC said something like, "this game needs more anime in it because I want a flaming sword", and I instinctively knew he was a dragoon. I stepped over smoldering corpses of dragoons who stood in the fire, I watched as dragoons dove into swarms of fate mobs only to be devoured, I witnessed the INT rings and cloth garments adorning these proud soldiers, and I smiled. Every MMO needs its Pyrrhic champion. I raise my glass to you, befuddled knights, may the fire always burn bright beneath your hearts and soles.
