You're right about one thing, very little of the game population posts on these forums. If every player posted on the forums, this would be at least 5x as large, I guarantee you that, and almost all of the replies would agree with me, not yourself. Not taking the time to type a dev reply is trying? Tons of suggestions have been made, and not every one of them hurts innocent people. Also, I have tried to contact them numerous time with no response.

As nice as those bans look on paper, they are empty numbers. QoL adjustments need to be made, that is the only way to satisfy players at this point. Some of these features are simple to implement and have been asked for for years now, yet there's been no implementation of said features. These bans aren't doing anything, and that's a problem.

This. I've also said myself. Bans are nice and all, but what do they contribute to at the end of the day, when we keep receiving friend requests (that have to be declined twice) from characters with shameless names, keep receiving /tells just as much every day, keep seeing /says in every city on a daily basis? They don't even comment on any of the UI or other suggestions we've made over and over again, nevermind actually implementing them. Those abovementioned clone armies? They're still there days after I report them - and that whole "observe and investigate" reasoning offers little in exchange for their unsightly presence. Look at this thread, 90 pages and going, and not one dev response. Because, sure, it's more important to add more ponies and change their music, it's more important to add some old-new obscure item to the game (or the cash shop)..... RMT? Bans, look at the number. Bots? 3-man "special task force", that can be contacted outside of the game, via a generic SE website. Yeah, let's do some math indeed.

So that's 50756 accounts banned in 2 months let us do the math kiddos

50756 * $12.99 = $659,320.44 * 12months = $7,911,845.28

So now they cut into what the company makes by $659,320.44 a month and $7,911,845.28 a year.

This is just for two months. I know over all its a lot more but, I am not going to dig around for it to prove a point I think I have done enough. If they did not care they would not do this.

Assuming none of those are bought with stolen credit cards or by other fraudulent means....... I mean, get real.

A lot of those money will be withdrawn again making Square's credit reputation pretty bad. It's not just as simple as ez monys ez life. They give this exact amount of shits because that's what's keeping them out of the bad spot.

I barely ever use /tells in the game, but when I do, the people I talk with tend to use properly spelled words and proper, basic punctuation. Give me the opportunity to filter out tells that have double spaces, or spaces before periods, or any letter other than "I" or "A" with spaces on each side of it, and I'll have solved like 99 percent of my own personal RMT spam problem. The same would probably apply to most others, too.

To add to it - like I said, this morning I logged in very briefly for mini cactpot (having had to skip yesterday and most of today). Exited the inn room, there was the THM clone army.

Now I log in, go to GS for cactpot, return to LL - WHAT DO YOU KNOW, it's a BLM clone army just as I port in!

This is just getting too much even for me.

Edit: and while I was writing this, I received TWO RMT /tells from two different characters, advertising two different sites. /thumbsup

On the thread you posted a great deal of the posts are the same people yapping about it. Now I am not saying that RMT is not a real thing but, I would say very little of the game population actually post on this forum.

So in the end you should thank them for at least trying. Also if you know how to fix the RMT without screwing innocent people over then why don't you contact them and tell them exactly how to do it since you seem to have all the answers?

You have absolutely no proof of them showing favoritism to the JP community. All you have is inconsequential evidence if any at all.

RMT spam is a bit fruity no denying that but, making erroneous allegations about square's being biased towards one community or the other is bit absurd.

So the way I see it is if they favor one over the other so much show the proof.

Put all your irrefutable proof on the table.

If you have it I am sure that it would cause a far larger problem then what you are currently fighting for.

If you do not have proof; then I think you should refrain from your false allegations and stop spreading rubbish that has absolute no merit.

Let's not get off track. I don't give a poop about the JP server. On Exodus, I am harassed from the very moment I log in with friend requests, Tells and shouts. The problem is getting worse and the developers and community managers can not be bothered to give us two minutes of their time to give us a public update. I feel like they are spitting in our face.

I posted this a few pages back as why busy is not an ideal solution This has really put me in a bad position. I am Master of a small FC of Family and friends. I started going busy, people asked, why? then, how do you it? Ect. Now everyone in my Free Company is busy, we know why we are busy, but it feels wrong, and now busy doesn't mean what it used t mean. It used to mean, "I am trying to get something done, and I unavailable to help" it was almost never used and it was respected, now busy means nothing . I moved tells to the event folder and removed the ding BUT I am now a master crafter and have missed a bunch of requests for help that I would have loved to have responded to. Address this publicly and fix it. Your silence and lack of action appears cowardly.
