Request: Can we have Chat / Emote Bubbles?

Chat and Emote bubbles (comic book style) are a cool part of the game that I would love to have. It is some times very hard to see what people are saying and the bubbles over peoples head has always made it much much easier. Its a lot better then always looking in the corner.

They have already said that this would be too much for the PS3 to handle. So no at least as long as the PS3 is supported.

Personally I don't want chat bubble anyways.

Why can't it be disabled for PS3. I highly doubt PS3 owners would raise the stink. They know the limits of the PS3.

Hey I'm just saying what the dev response was (I believe it was in a live letter?). I think they like to keep the UI's as similar as possible between the versions. There are things I'd love to have, like a party TP bar, that they said they have not implemented because of the PS3 (although they are trying to figure out a way to do a TP bar for all versions).

You may have a PS4, I don't. Although I'll admit I play mostly on my PC.

Direct X 11 version of the game should have chat bubbles then.

I don't see the need.
I can see my chat box just fine. I can filter it through custom tabs if there's some other kinda spam going on.
If I wanted to look at a character talk because I'm zoomed up on them or something, their lips move when they say something! So the immersion aspect is there too.

Having bubbles pop up all over town sounds ...unappealing.

I would appreciate having the option of chat bubbles. If you don't want them you simply leave them turned off and can continue to monitor the chat box.
