PS4 digital CE pre-order ?

So, I've been trying to pre-order the ps4 physical collectors edition of heavensward and after tons of "technical issues" (square enix won't accept my paypal account or my debit card for some reason, support says they dunno why it's getting rejected) it's now sold out without me being able to order it...

Now, according to the games' official website: http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/heavensward/
there is a "FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward Collector's Edition (Digital Download)" available, but there's no pre-orders for it anywhere (there's also none for the ps3 version) ...If I wait for release then I won't get the pre-order bonuses. (and won't be able to play during the early access).

Just to clarify I'm in England (europe), I'm aware the NA store still has physical CE copies in stock...

It's coming, Square is apparently working with Sony to get it up on the PlayStation store soon. We just have to wait, all of the pre order bonuses including early access will be available with this version too.

I would do as Akira_Tenshi, says, as it is also what I am doing.

If you want it on the PS4, then there wouldn't be much difference if you waited to buy it in the PS Store.

I'm sorry you have to go through this frustration, especially with region lock. I hope everything is clear for you by early access. ^^

I'm in the US and just want the Digital CE for PS4 no word from anyone when it will be out and I don't really want to pay double for the physical. I hate they are waiting til the last minute to tell us the date we can get errr done. Guess they don't want a big rush for pre orders so they are making us check everyday.

PSN option is the only one avaliable to me as the only physical copies New Zealand got were the $400 collectors edition or the Realm Reborn and Heavensward bundle. All my other kiwi mates had to order their PC versions from Europe and I'm the last one to pick up a copy :<

I wonder if this is gonna be a PSN store exclusive thing, or if we can buy it through other means (like Square Enix store) and get a PSN code for it...

PSN Store does not like my credit card, but it works everywhere else....

If it's only available through PSN store I'd have to buy those psn cards for funds, which may take a few days...

I feel really bad that it's only 1 month away from the expansion release and NOTHING relevant has been said so far about digital CE.

Eh, I have a jp account and the physical ps4 CE sold out in a day. So we're in the same position...

Sony has nothing to do with the game not being up for preorder yet, it's easier for SE to blame it on Sony but they have nothing to do with it. SE is just cheap and doesn't want to end up paying for having their game up for preorder for too long. FF X/X-2 HD went up for preorder in the store a week before the official release, because they chose so. There's plenty of AAA games that are up for preorder even months before release, so yeah once SE stops beings so cheap we might be able to preorder through PS store.
