The info is that he's missing an eye and that he's the only one of the seven to be blue, matching the description of Nidhogg.

Given all lore of Nidhogg in previous games, and in lore in general outside of SE titles, he's almost always depicted as a dark (often purple, black or dark blue.) dragon. I think it would be silly to presume he's white in this case, considering it's a Japanese game and Japanese consider white to be a pure colour and once more almost always stick to their stereotypes of assigned personalities, all evidence is against Nidhogg appearing as white.

This is incorrect. In Japanese and Chinese culture, White is associated with Death and impurity. When you die, you become pale and white. This is also why you never give White gifts to Japanese, where gift giving is an art and the gifts you give hold meaning based on the most subtle things. To give a white gift would mean you want someone to die. In the Yin and Yang, white represents light, but it has its impure black spot for a reason.

Furthermore, Nidhogg is not color locked: http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Nidhogg

He was only Black in XI due to him being a Super Fafnir.

I'm inclined to agree that 4, the gold dragon, is Bahamut as it matches most closely the concept art for Bahamut which also depicts him as black and gold.
