Curious about the raiding scene on this server

Hey Jenova, how is the raiding scene on this server? There is a part of me that always wanted to transfer to this server since it was the newest one created, therefore making room for growth. Also I am biased simply because of the name lol. So how is it? How is pugging? How are statics?

Update: T1 - T13 cleared & on farm. i130 SMN BiS main/i130 BLM alt. Other jobs i110+.

Well, in my experience, the server is nice, but not an "aggressive" raiding server. There are the few statics that run it often though. As far as pugging, it is hit and miss. One thing to know about this server, is that the "Party Finder" tab averages like 3-6 entries, with most being FATE farm or Service selling. Best to get in with friends/FC to raid or DF it and hope for best. It is also a little quiet, not sure if because heavy PS4 users, or just a quiet place, but still it is quiet... Well except for RMT tells about once every other minute. Good Luck!

yes, usually 6 during prime time, and 1-2 during off peak hours.

Jenova is more than 75% made up of PSN players, as well.

That said, there are a few raiding statics, mostly during USA evening.

There are a few statics yeah, but not that many. Not too many ppl in T13 yet. It is mostly busy in the afternoon (12pm -9pm EST). Nowadays you can find an average of 8 PFs including Fate parties and stuff. PFs for the Final Coil are mostly bad but there are several good ppl that farm that stuff and they are really good at it. Not that many ppl but there are several. Not a huge server, very tiny really. A ton of new players lately. I thought about transferring to another server before but because of my friends and me static, I stayed and i'm ok with my decision. It's definitely not a hardcore server but if u take the time to search for and meet raiders, you won't be disappointed. If u are planning to farm high-level stuff (T11/12/13), it's better to do it with selected ppl from a LS or a FC. PF is not very reliable for stuff like that. The server is quiet yeah but it's ok I think. It has pros and cons, u can visit us for a few days and try it out for urself :3 Good Luck!

Jenova arguably the fastest growing server in the game. Its quite in most regards but the server has a ton of room to grow with new player leafs seen everyday. It is the unofficial PS4 server as sort of stated earlier.

Jenova is where it's as for the new and for the old looking for fresh stomping grounds and a chance to be "known" amongst their peers.

Edit: Also it still has plenty of housing. No small plots currently as I purchased the last on the server like 2 weeks ago for a whopping 2.1 million gil. So if that's a draw for you there are no worries there.

This point has caused me to consider transferring to a more PC-friendly server before, but I ended up deciding that I like the community too much to start anew.

A lot of the more competent raids get organized in Linkshells, rather than the PF.

What would you like to know about the community? Here are some things I have noticed, but everyone will have a slightly different perspective on it.
One of the big things are the hunts. Due to the size of the server, you can easily do hunts. Rarely do pulls get made early. More often than not, there are a lot of shouts and LS messages before the pull. Of course there are the few exceptions, but usually if you need allied seals, you can easily get them.
The MB prices are about "in the middle" from what I can tell from most servers.
Until recently, housing was abundant, there are still medium and large plots for sale in most wards.
Not a lot of "bullying" that I have seen (of course, it is the internet and keyboard tough guys are everywhere, but seem less here)
Even though I hate using the word "casual" player, it does seem that this server has a lot of them.

In my mind, I think of this server community similar to a small, rural town. Low population, helpful people but not the "excitement" (read epeen hunters) of some larger servers.
