Maybe they should've put it in Main Scenario roulette instead.
They definately need to increase the rewards for this one. The pain outweighs the gain. :3

I really hope the major story trials in Heavensward (Ravana, Bismarck, etc.) actually have treasure loot at the end. I do not understand why they omitted any treasure chests from them in A Realm Reborn, considering the mandatory story dungeons like Haukke Manor and Snowcloak do have loot.
I don't even bother with trial roulette anymore. I don't mind helping people, but it frequently ends up failing, especially since people will drop immediately or after a single wipe (which is about 10 minutes anyway). It requires a lot more coordination than most trials, takes much longer even if done perfectly, and can get completely derailed from a single person messing up, pretty much regardless of which role they were playing.
I agree, I sure don't check "Join in Progress" any more since I keep ending up in a Steps of Faith with, say, a couple of other bewildered DPS...
It's i90 which would make new players to lvl 50 have that kind of gear PLUS have to complete ALL of the story from 2.0 to SoF just to open the Main Story Roulette.
I really feel three things need to happen to make players happy:
(Edit: just in case, the following comments are not directed at the quoted individual nor anyone in particular in this thread. )
1) I hate to say it, but the community needs to become less anal about new players, time, and rewards. Everything is "I NEED MO4R NAAAAAAAO!!!!111!!!BBQ!"
2) We need to split the "Main Story" up into parts for different roulettes. CM, Westwind, Prae, etc can go into "2.0 Main Story" while SoF can be the "Cape Westwind" of the new "Heavensward Main Story" roulette.
3) SE and the dev teams need to give us more variety to get tomes, level, etc so that we don't get so bored of each dungeon, etc that we need to get through before we puke. Personally, I don't mind taking things slow but some people, I swear they want to press a button to "auto finish" the dungeon.
