    Tell Spam

This has been on my mind for a while, generally when not set to /Busy I'm spammed by gil sellers many times I can't even see the messages from friends due to the spam, even at this time of morning (7am eastern) there's spam

    2 ways could fix this:
First let us have an option to block all tells from anyone not in our linkshells, Friendslist or Free Company, this would instead of blocking us from just about anything party/tell related we could still d most things without being spammed

Second put in an option to block all tells from anyone that doesn't have a class at least level 20 or (any level we select)

I know this doesn't fix the gil spammers problem but this will help your player base that actually wants to enjoy the game a lot. Gil spammers is something that you cannot really stop them from getting in, they'll always be there unless you have a person for every account watching what htey are doing, which is impossible.

Or how about this . . . don't give yell/whisper/invite privileges to players under level 20. Seriously how hard is that???

Maybe someone from SE needs to get in touch with one of the dozens of other gaming companies that do this since they can't seem to figure out how it's done.

    Bloody shameful.

they tryed that in aion, you do know bots work wonders to get to any levels? and that woudl actually kill our gaming community since new players wont be able to ask questions until they are level 20 and the sad part is that your interest is mostl;y triggered in those first 20-30 levels

RMTs don't use the Lv.50 BOTs' accounts to /shout, /yell, /tell thier Ads. Instead they use Lv.1 characters to do so.

IMO, making restriction to the chat commands to Lv.2 will reduce a good number of the Ads, sice they seem to delete the RMT-Ad character and re-create.

With any extra level, the more the spam is reduced.. so Lv.5 or Lv.10 will be enough to see actual results.

Oh my god! Lv 2! Those 6 lady bugs outside are so terrifying. It takes 6 kills to get to lv 2, that's not even 3 minutes, no bots ever going to do that

No lv restriction is going to change anything, we may see a lessening of tells for a day or 2, but do you really think they will go "gotta be lv 50, this game ain't worth it" no they wont. Getting Lv 50 is a 1 day thing, and the time it takes will never offset the gains from the amount they sell gil for.

on Faerie in both Old Gridania & Steps of Thal (Market's destrict), RMT-Ads stay for 2 minutes and they vanish (delted to create new character) to keep the Ads alive if they are blacklisted.

I know that killing few Lv.1-3 mobs will hit up to Lv.5.. but it will require few minutes then go to /shout VERSES a Lv.1 rushing to Market place to /shout and log out.

if a Level 1 character requires 3 minutes to create, Advertise for 2 minutes, then deleted.. gives 12 characters per hour.

if a Level 3/4/5 character requires 3 minutes creation + 5 minutes to get out of city and kill those mobs and get back in to advertise for same 2 minutes, then deleted.. gives 6 characters per hour.

Being sarcastic won't solve the problem, we want a solution to stop spams but not restraining real players to ask for help. I rise many Lv.15-25 players when I gather here and there.

Yeah, it will help. Immensely. Other games have also put in features that allow players to ignore anyone lower than a certain level. After this feature was introduced in WoW do you know how many gold spams I saw during the years I played following its inception? Zero. In two years. Zero.

ok gold digger logic for the really clueless players.
    best example remains aion.
    MILLIONS OF PLAYERS WORLD WIDE
last i played it the chat restriction was level 20 iirc, someone could probably check if this information is still working.
gold diggers rely on bots to farm their stuff, they dont have the choice no human beings can handle 168 hours of game time per week NO ONE and even less handle at least 1 account per realms PER mega server section north american, na europe europe to somewhere else. and to be honest if you put a chat restriction on a video game would be like challenging them into proving you wrong and they will prove you wrong because they want your money and they will have your money because the only 2 way to getting rid of them would be to do the follwoing and god knows not a single player in the world will accept those.

1-DROP the value of each and every items that you can craft in the game to a point where it reaches ZERO interest or profit for RMT to sell you golds for the 17$ a month they spend and neither will you, woots stuff going right now for 700k going down to 50k fully melded not profitable so you dont craft it either. wich will end up with you being not bill gates rich at all.
2- force the gms to start using their powers and still keep the economy ultra low and spread that knowledge to future gamer generation to avoid the return of gold sellers.
