You can't buy Platinum packs, you can only get them as rewards for participating in the bi-monthly tournaments that are held out of the Gold Saucer.

I can't offer anything to the database that seems to be getting complied in this thread that hasn't already been stated. I had around 2900-3000 pts because I just NPC'd all of my matches this week and got 3 plat packs. 2/3 were cards I still needed!

I got Lahabrea, Ultima Weapon and Nanamo. Getting Nanamo was awesome. I have about 700k MGP and Fenrir is sooooo close, knocking off a 400k card in a single pack was a great feeling indeed.

All I thought was, "that is 4k matches I don't have to play against the Imperial!!!" o.o

You can't. They are rewarded based on your total finishing points from the TT Tournament you entered that week.

I thought my Nanamo was cool but now I see people with tournament-only cards like Tidus, so maybe I can get something like that in the future. With the platinum pack that gives some better hope at collecting every card in the game with a lot of luck and time, I like it.

I think you can still see your score in the Gold Saucer panel (where you can see lotto ticket purchased, your MGP total etc)

cannot see anything except the points for the top 20 and the time the tournament took place in.

Three Lahabrea cards and two Nanamo cards. I'll take it, but the low chance of actually getting anything we need instead of Lahabrea will probably start to get annoying after a while.

Really looking forward to getting Nanamo now that I finally got WoL after 800k mgp in gold packs. Nanamo/Cloud only 2 cards left.
