BlackList 200max - gold spammers - fix this

You can likely delete the first 190 entries with zero repercussion. Those spam accounts aren't in use for more than a day or are banned already. They don't say (DELETED) when they are banned either. It's time to clear your list. There are no good reasons to keep a spammer on your Blist for more than a day or two.

Yay time to click one at a time, click accept and do this over and over and over again until my brain melts. In FFXIV even cleaning off your blacklist is a grind!

I don't have 1 person B-listed. Each day I see a couple /tells from RMT. Always a different name. (Over 4-5 hour span)

IMO its to a point where RMT are non-intrusive.
i.e. not enough spam to cause issues or warrant b listing.

At least on Hyperion.

Yeah it can be a pain in the butt. My first time I had to clear around 180. Now I check the list and prune it once a week so it doesn't take but 30s or so each week now.

I feel like a right click option "black list and report for spam/rmt" should be a serious option...

Add a "Clear Black List" button.

Add a report player for spam (right clicking their name in chat), it automatically adds the person to your black list and sends a report to a game master.

credit card bans also don't work as they either create free trial characters to minimise costs to them knowing they will be banned.

- The chat options /shout, /yell, and /tell cannot be used by Free Trial characters.

I have a feeling that RMT is going to get worse the closer we get to the expansion. They know a lot of players are returning that need to get up to speed quickly before or at expansion. I cannot fathom why Square Enix will not make it easier to report RMT. I do not like to be in /busy mode as I do receive legitimate tells from people.

They need to have the option to (Report RMT) below the (Add to Blacklist).

When reporting RMT it blocks any incoming messages from owner of account and flags the people in charge of weeding these people out.

My two cents;

I honestly do agree that if mods/admins/whomever does a blacklist check against characters, if its over like 20 or 30, do a little follow up, monitor their activity for a bit. If the game keeps track of tells or whom they're "adding" or "telling" you should be able to tell if its in the 100's and if its 100 different people that should tell you.

I'd like the cap of 200 to be expanded, but, if you get to 200, you can probably go through that list and remove all the (deleted) to get more space.
