I'm somewhat interested. Do people usually make new characters for this, or can they use their main characters?

Your main character of course has more options and as the first post indicates, dungeon runs would be required so a minimum level of 20 is requested. Personally, I had a lot of alts, so I figured I'd up my chances by offering variety xD.

This sounds like fun, but I have a question. My main character's a guy, but I'm a not. I don't mind attempting his voice for the contest. (My voice is no where near deep, but I like practicing my voice acting so I can try lol) will not sounding as manly as well a guy be an issue for the contest. thanks in advance.
Benjamin Belmont: Sea Wolf Roegadyn, Level 50 NIN/WAR
Close Up: Trust me; I'm your best buddy in Eorzea
"Who can't resist this smirk?"
Battle: Too cool to hide
"I may be a ninja but I don't need to hide"
Scenic: Refreshment
"After a showdown against the fiercest monsters I really enjoy to relax."

I hate to ask, but are you using a lighting mod? I had asked about them because they make awesome screenshots and I wondered the stance on them...H-Hi everyone!! Doki Doki here, I hope you like my pictures!
CLOSE-UP
Being a Lalafell, it's kind of hard to get a good headshot, sometimes I like to pretend other people look up to me.
<3 E-even if those other people are small animals...
SCENIC
There are so many pretty places in Eorzea, but these floating crystals just outside La Noscea are some of my
favourite places to...er...fall asleep and almost fall off...
BATTLE SHOT
Even though I'm a healer, and a lot of things scare me, like...fighting...and crabs...and enemies...and fighting giant enemy crabs...
I can still ice-bend with the best of them! E-even if it is...cross-skilled...
Thank you for this opportunity, and I hope you consider this lalafell for this cycle!! I-I promise to do my best!!
Also I can do my own voice-work...s-so there's that...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------To make things fair for all models, all submitted photos must be taken with no editing what so ever. Editing also means using a program that makes ur game look better, like the shot you posted. Using FRAPS is okay, because SE's built in screen shot taker is rather slow, and FRAPS allows you to grab the perfect shot. If you want to take a picture uncentered, there are ways to do it without having a friend take your picture. You can lock your camera onto something and swing it out. But in order to get a more dynamic shot, it is most definitely allowed to have a friend take a screen shot of you, for you! ^^
There's no problem at all! That's another thing that came up in my discussion (I'm also a girl and have a few guys in my alts)This sounds like fun, but I have a question. Midge is actually a guy, using a high voice to voice his Lalafel female. And Fruity Tootie had her vocal cords ripped out by a bear while fighting in the amazon at the age of 4, so she used a computer to voice her model! I think that is half the fun! It would be hilarious if you were a big highlander male and had a high pitched girl voice. xDDDDDD

Oh, that's really unfortunate, there should be something about that in the first post, as it stands the first post really doesn't say a whole lot about what is and isn't allowed... I basically never turn sweetfx off because of how dull the game looks normally, so I hadn't even considered it'd be considered unfair. :/ I guess I'll have to try and grab new ones, but Rongi Pongi should really really rectify the first post with some rules!!
Added! ^^ Sorry about that! ENTM has been going on for a year, so I forget that people don't know the rules right off the bat. xD
Anyone else happily surprised to see a male Roe audition?!![]()

Ahh, sorry! I've been playing for a while, but only recently started coming on the forums, so ENTM is completely new to me! I did junk what's up on youtube of it, though, while I was waiting for weather patterns. UwU (the fact that there was photoshopping going on in the "underwater" shoot only compounded my idea that there wouldn't be a problem with sweetfx, but I should have asked).
Hehe, I understand! The photoshopping going on in Round 1 was actually a big "announcement" because it was the first photoshoot in ENTM history to use it.
It's so interesting to hear the game looks dull to someone without sweetfx being used though! xD The game is gorgeous and inspired ENTM, and the models have submitted so many great shots! When I got my gaming laptop (played on ps3 first) I was blown away by how good the game could actually look! I've never used sweetfx, but I can see it definitely adds a bit of ...spice to FFXIV's graphics! Looks really cool!
