An acquaintance of mine advised using the /busy status will circumvent the RMT tell spam. I tell you, the silence has been beautiful. I would highly recommend it. Just make sure you tell folks that if they need to speak privately with you, to say so via FC/LS, say or moogle mail so you can remove the status. The /busy status will also pass you up on responding to the Ready Check. People know you are ready if you have been running around and if you are not ready, just shout it out (thinking of Crystal Tower primarily).

That is interesting. Thank you for the suggestion. It is another work around but it would help tremendously when questing. It would be nice if Square Enix had a report as RMT when you click on someones name similar to the black list option. Making RMT easier to report would go a long way in letting us players know that Square Enix hears us.
