Meh. I am straight, but I look better in a skirt than most women I know. If people perceive me as gay for what I wear then they are just jealous of good fashion sense. I could care less if people think I am gay, IRL or in game. My sweetie knows the truth and she is the only one on the face of this useless ball of dirt that matters XD
P.S. - When she is logged in to any game, I have informed her that she is indeed a guy as far as the player base is concerned![]()

This made me super happy to readMeh. I am straight, but I look better in a skirt than most women I know. If people perceive me as gay for what I wear then they are just jealous of good fashion sense. That's a safe call, and she'd better be careful not to mention that she's ACTUALLY a girl irl, otherwise she's just an "attention whore" exploiting her gender for favors.
Also make sure she jumps around a lot just to drive home that she's a dude. I hear they tend to do that.
I've learned so much from this thread.

I've seen this message too many times now. Prepare for it to be debunked:
Back on like... page 5, I said that my own female avatar character married a guy avatar, while both players, me and him, are both guys. Despite doing this, neither of us actually feel that way towards each other. Want to know why? It happened BECAUSE the avatars are male and female. We both prefer straight relationships. (I don't have anything against Gay and Lesbian relationships either though) There's also plenty of games out there that have some sort of marriage system in it. (Allowing you pick up CPU's or other players)
Real life and videogames are two different things. Just because your avatar is married to another player avatar, doesn't mean your life is going to be drastically affected by that decision unless you for some odd reason allow it too. And others. There's plenty of people out there who insist on feeling strongly about this even though it's just a freaking videogame.
Myth Busted.
And with that, imma go back to watching this thread burn. Because unlike most of the population, I could care less about "reality" in a videogame.

...okay, I haven't been keeping up with this thread so idk if that guy posted earlier or not but I'm assuming it was sarcasm. At least I'm hoping it was. So either your post was unnecessary or I have significantly overestimated.
I play as a female character because my husband wanted me to. I glamor taffeta and light steel becuz my husband crafted them and wanted me to wear them.
I'm just amazed on how my character takes care of her bikini line becuz it's really really bothersome to maintain :P
Not all guys playing MMO are nasty creepers, most of them are cool and nice. :]

I think he was being sarcastic, but even if that went over her head I liked her story hehe.
The 6 races are immune to body hair.

Regardless if that particular post was sarcastic or not, it doesn't change the fact that there are people out there who literally think that way. So my point stands.

I had to re-roll my main because I was getting "flirted" with too much.. even when I had written in my status I was a guy. I considered any emote of a flirtly nature in that as well. Now I have no problemsI even got a flower from a catgirl... hoping its a real girl playing haha
