I hope there isn't too much snow to be honest. The only game in which I enjoy the snowy environment was Skyrim and The Last of Us.

Coerthas is the worst looking place to me in this game and the music is HORRIBLE.
Acyd's 2nd pic on the first page looks amazing. Kinda looks like Sky garden from TERA.

I may be wrong, but I believe they showed off the Western Highlands with the field video. It was frozen/snowy as well.

Yep you're right. I forget the lore but why was Coerthas covered in snow and ice? Can't be just Bahamut's Rage.

I'm not sure if it was anything more than vast temperature changes due to the fall of Dalamud. Due to certain events that would constitute a spoiler, a lot of aether got released back into the world so that may play a part as well.

They did say something about there being as much content as there was when the game was released. Rather that includes amount of zones or just overall in general l dunno.

I'm almost certain Shiva was behind the cold as its blocking access to Western Coerthas Highlands (Snow cloak) and there is a vigil (Iron?) there North west of Ishgard. I never played 1.0 so I don't know if it was a ruin like Stone/Steel vigil or not. From the videos I've seen it look like West Highlands is being added back in as a possible starting point for the new areas. Whether or not other areas are just being renamed in Coerthas wont be known until we get there and start rebuilding maps to compare to 1.0.

Well the Dravian Hinterlands have a very v1.0 Coerthas look to them.
