Looks like we get to look forward to a whole expansion worth of helping the elezen oppress religious minorities and goth outfits everywhere. Why couldn't it have been built on the Ixal flying island myth instead? I was really hoping for something better looking, trees! clouds! waterfalls off floating islands and stuff, less iron and more cloth.

It doesn't really matter where its set too IMO as long as its fun, all these floating islands give me Riverne - Site #A-01 / B01 vibes.

Totally agree with you, and is 1 of my favorite areas in FFXI! I can't wait to go to the sky!

(4.0 better be Sea, because that is my favorite Expansion in FFXI) Of course not copy cat, but the general theme of it all .

I think the expansions bigger then you expect, still more zones to see and from what we saw alot are outside Ishgard/Coerthas.
Also anyone notice the 20gb space needed for PS3 build? if thats just for Heavansward alone (not including ARR) its gonna be huge

I'm expecting more zones, hopefully another citystate/hub, to be revealed before launch

I think the Ishgardian faith and state is in for a shake up in the main storyline, remember the Ascien we saw at the side of their leader, also Midgardzomer suggesting that the Dragons didnt start the war Ishgard did. I think we'll be seeing trouble ahead

The only thing gothic about this expansion is the architecture in Ishgard. Well, that and the rare character with the palest skin color they can manage and black hair, but that's more on the player side and less the game's side.

Also, I find it hard to believe we'll at all be hunting heretics unless it's to help them, considering what direction the 2.5 story is taking us...
